Incident Description

On March 18, 2025 between 10:18 and 13:36 UTC, SAP LeanIX customers who have KPIs widget on their dashboards, were unable to see KPIs widget content.

Incident Resolution

The incident was resolved by reverting the code changes and deploying a previous version of the application. This allowed users to access their KPIs widget content.

Root Cause Analysis

The regression happened due to an unexpected side effect of Angular dependency injection mechanism.

Preventative Measures

We are enhancing the automatic test suite to identify dependency injection issues before the deployment to the production environment.
